AVO ESSENTIALS Lavender oil review #sponsored #free product

DISCLOSURE: This product was sent to me free for review. I am not related or affiliated with this company.

First off, I want to say that I have always loved the smell of lavender. However, not everything smells like lavender. People try to copy the true scent of lavender in room sprays and candles all the time and fail miserably. Real lavender is pure and will clear your nasal passages. It will help soothe a migraine and soothe your mind to help you sleep.

When I received my very LARGE glass bottle with the glass dropper from AVO of 100% PURE therapeutic grade lavender oil and from Bulgaria no less, right off, I was impressed. Glass versus plastic tells me that they care about their product. If you know the difference, you know that plastic gathers dirt and dust and your oil will gather all of these particles simply because of the crap plastic that the product is concealed in. Not only does AVO use a glass bottle, but they take the next step, by using a glass dropper. They don't cut corners anywhere. I can tell they love their product and they love what they do.

When I opened the cap I was so pleasantly surprised by the wonderful aroma of the pure, yet intense fragrant smell of lavender. It truly will clear your sinuses if you are stuffy. The back note has a hint of eucalyptus. Now that could just be me, but that's what I smell. The side of the bottle says that not only could you use it for headaches and massage, but you could use it for an insect repellent. Now, I had never heard of this, and we get these tiny sugar ants every summer, so I'm on a mission. I'll let you know how it works out.

Let me tell you how I used my lavender oil. I put on a set of fresh bed sheets and before putting on my pillow cases, I put a few drops of lavender oil on my pillows. Believe me, you really don't want to use more than a few drops, it's all you need, it's that potent. My bed smelled like a spa and it really did help with my sleep. I suffer from insomnia quite often, so I can truly attest to the fact that this did affect my sleep in a positive way. I don't think people give enough credit to aromatherapy, but there is something soothing and quite wonderful about lavender. PURE lavender mind you.

Next, I have noticed that my hair has been thinning. I already have fine hair so this really annoys me. I found that if you use hexane free castor oil on your hair, it will help it thicken back up and grow. If you have ever smelled this stuff, you know it stinks. Well, not with a few drops of this awesome AVO Lavender oil. Of course, you don't need more than just 2-3 drops in about 1/4 cup of the castor oil mix. I keep this on my bathroom counter and put this on my hair a couple of nights a week. Now instead of smelling like castor oil, I smell like this beautiful fresh lavender. I actually read that lavender itself helps with hair loss, so win/win!

I will be using AVO as a massage oil for my temples when I get a migraine. I'll be heading to my local health food store to purchase a quality oil to use with it. AVO is all natural and you don't want to use it directly on your skin. The benefits of this is how long your bottle of lavender oil will last and the many uses you will get out of it.  Here is just a small list that I found for you:

I plan to use it in my bathwater with epsom salt and to freshen my laundry. This is liquid gold in a bottle and can help with so many things and this 4 fl oz bottle is going to last me a while. I'm sold on the high quality and the level of pride that AVO has put into their product. When my bottle is empty, I won't turn anywhere else but AVO.
