I've been using it as an eye makeup remover, I have read about how great it works for your hair and have been using it approx 3-5 nights a week and leaving it in my hair to strengthen my thin, fine hair and even my husband has noticed a difference! My husband and daughter have both been using it on their rough elbows and they say that they have noticed a difference. I use it on my legs after showering and it doesn't leave a greasy residue, it moisturizes perfectly. I also heard that it can help with thinning hair such as your eyebrows so I have been using it on my eyebrows at night. Honestly I love the smell of coconut so if Lalune were to add that scent, I would be in heaven!
I found this definition of the meaning of Fractionated Coconut oil and found it interesting.
What is Fractionated Coconut Oil?
As the name implies, Fractionated coconut oil is a fraction of the coconut oil from which almost all the long chain triglycerides are removed, thus leaving mainly the medium-chain triglycerides and making it an absolutely saturated oil. This saturation gives it a very, very long shelf life and greatly increased stability.
In addition, fractionating raises the comparative concentration of Capric acid and Caprylic acid, thus giving it more of antioxidant and disinfecting effect.
-It is used in cooking, as it does not go rancid easily and is very stable.
I'm going to try it in cooking due to the health content and the fact that it doesn't have flavor like the other coconut oil that I've been using. I haven't tried it yet. I think I need a bottle for my kitchen, as I have this one for my bathroom. I'm very pleased with this product and the various ways you can use it.
