The Cellulite Myth: It's Not Fat, It's Fascia

The Cellulite Myth: It's Not Fat, It's Fascia Paperback

I'm not quite sure where to begin, I have never been so moved by such real life experience from someone who has had to endure such horrific pain since childhood and even more excruciating and life threatening pain and debilitation as a young mother as Ashley Black. You see, I have a rare auto immune disorder that has wreaked havoc on my body for years and this mystery disease has left doctors puzzled, so I understand why Ashley went out on a mission to understand the whys and decided to heal herself and her pain and is where she is at today. It makes perfect and absolute sense to me. I won't go into detail about what happened, you need to read the book, but so many of us simply do not get answers from doctors and if we do, we get conflicting answers from different doctors that leave us even more puzzled and confused and left wandering around in the dark.
Ashley took her experience and didn't lie around crying about any of it, she read and read and studied about the human body and how and why it works the way it does and she studied the mechanics on herself and others, famous NBA, PGA AND NFL players and many others and to their amazement they had changes in how they performed. This was never about cellulite, that was an added benefit, a surprise bonus.
This was about health, pain management, performance and so much more.
I would rather learn from someone like Ashley Black with all of her pain and experience, than someone who has never been through a single minute of what she has and decided to dig for the answers. This is truth, this reality.
Personally, I have a Fasciablaster and have been getting results from pain that I never thought I would experience. My daughter who has had Juvenile Arthritis that no doctor would ever diagnose but has been in pain since she was about 7 years old, suffers with pain in her legs and joints all of the time and the blaster has been helping to ease and reduce her pain. Our posture is beginning to change and we are seeing a decrease in migraines and back pain. This is all explained in this book and how to figure out how and where your IT bands pull and how to examine your skin for tight fascia and where it becomes bound. It explains how to use the tool in perfect detail.
There are pictures that show pieces of chicken with membrane that give you a clear idea of exactly what fascia looks like, along with more detailed descriptions of how fascia functions and how it truly is underneath the skin and how it must stay hydrated to function at optimal performance.
So many illnesses and diseases that we are diagnosed with can be attributed to fascia if we would only take the time to study our own illness. Ashley helps us to understand this in perfect detail and outline and for me, I had lightbulb moment after lightbulb moment. Not only for me but for family and friends who suffer.
I hope that you decided to pick up this book for yourself and for a friend, if you suffer from migraines, fibro or have pain anywhere in your body. It might be the answer that your looking for. After many years of being a chronic pain sufferer, I feel that this tool and this book has been a godsend and a blessing in more ways than one.
